Situation Analysis in Benue State

Benue State in Nigeria has been grappling with a significant Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) crisis, primarily due to violent conflicts between nomadic cattle herders and sedentary crop farmers. This has resulted in a substantial number of individuals being forced to flee their homes and seek refuge in various camps across the state.

The foundation gave financial support to 20 more widows to start-up small scale businesses, bringing the total number of widows being supported by the Foundation since 2009.
